What it is & why it helps

ESWT delivers focused acoustic pulses to the sore area. These pulses stimulate blood flow and cellular activity that support the body’s repair process and reduce pain signalling.

  • Drug-free and non-invasive
  • Targets chronic tendon/fascia problems
  • Great when other care hasn’t helped
  • Best results when combined with progressive loading (exercise)
What to expect:
  • During: firm tapping sensation; intensity adjusted to comfort
  • After: mild, temporary soreness (24–48h) can be normal
  • Plan: typically 3–5 sessions, about once per week
